January 1, 2020 Zebra News Ms. Liz and Ms.

Poy

Dear Zebra Families,

Happy New Year!!!!!! We hope that you’ve had a magical, wonderfilled Holiday Season. We have an
exciting month ahead of us. For the first time in a while I’ve been able to plan a January calendar and it has
not been 70 degrees and sunny. We will have some fun with The Gingerbread man, Animals in Winter and
all the different ways we can enjoy the winter weather. By the end of the month we will be looking ahead to
what the groundhog has to say about how much more of winter we can anticipate.

We are looking forward to seeing how much your children have grown. In the next couple of months we will
be finessing those skills we laid the foundation for in 2020. Fingers crossed we can make it across the
finish line in May. Your commitment to keeping everyone healthy and in school has been commendable
and more importantly it’s worked. As of the writing of this letter we will continue to ask you to provide
several masks for the children and we will continue to work with them on wearing them in class.
