It’s that time of year again! Vera Lloyd’s annual day of giving is just around the corner
on August 13. Lulu’s Love in Action Day honors the incredibly selfless and giving
spirit of our founding mother, Lulu Williamson. Lulu dedicated her life to empowering
vulnerable children and giving them a safe place to call home. YOU can follow in her
footsteps and invest in children through Vera Lloyd’s Transition Services Program.

The Transition Services Program helps Vera Lloyd’s youth transition from an
adolescence of abuse, neglect and dependency into an adulthood of stability, healthy
relationships and independence. This transformation happens through:

• Life Skills Workshops
• College/Vocational School
Tours
• Campus Work Program
• Job Search Skills & Support
• Nutrition Education
• Healthy Relationship Coaching
• Conflict Resolution Skills
• Inspirational Guest Speakers
• Community Mentoring

Lulu’s Love in Action Day will help Vera Lloyd continue to provide these comprehensive
services. You will be empowering vulnerable youth who work hard everyday to reach
