5. Why the apparatus should be sheltered from the sunlight

Because the sun light will heat the testing cup, and when we cast the sample in the
testing cup, the sample’s temperature will increase and since we start the test with a
high rate of heating ,if the sample has a low flash point (i.e 600C) we may overpast
the flash point of sample before we test it ( this is an error). Moreover, if the sample
has a low flash point it would be a danger to put it in a heated cup so its vapor catch
fire easily.

6.. What would you recommended if the flash point of the sample is expected to be
600C? _This is a low flash point temperature, we must take the flash point temperature
into consideration in various fields especially storing temperature of Bitumen and
mixing temperature process, so that those temperatures never exceed the flash point
temperature else it would be dangerous.

7. How is the result affected if air bubbles are present at the surface of the sample?
