 Marking of the working area at least 1 meter from the
edge of the trench ,
 Safety signs will be displayed for this operation,
 Tool box talk will be given by the HSSE supervisor to the
worker at site,
 Permit to work signed and completed by the HSSE
supervisor
 Persons not involved in this operation will be cleared
 Only competent persons will be involved in this
- Use of hand and power

 Wear appropriate PPE,
 Wear specific gloves for grinding ,
 Wear the grinding helmet ,
 Check the good condition of hand and power tools
prior to start the work,
 Eliminate all sources of ignition on the pipe prior to the
start the operation.
