CITY OF WAYNE

PUBLIC NOTICE
FINAL DETERMINATION

The City of Wayne continues to participate in the U. S. Department of Housing and


Urban Development (HUD) Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program as
administered by the County of Wayne.

Objectives The City’s program objectives are the following: A] To provide the benefits
of CDBG funding to persons of low and moderate income and to areas where at least
fifty-one percent (51%) of the residents are of low to moderate income. B] To eliminate
slums, blight and blighting influences. C] To enforce the laws. D] To facilitate and
support private investment, reinvestment and development. E] To conserve and
improve the housing stock. F] To improve public facilities, including but not limited to
parks and streets. G] To maintain a high level of performance in the management of all
CDBG projects.

Public Hearings: Following duly noticed respective public hearings, on January 16,
2018 and February 6, 2018. The City Council approved the proposed projects listed
below.

Housing Rehab Eligible Areas $58, 731.00
Administration $10,000.00
Total: $127,231.00

If the amount of total funding is reduced or increased by HUD or Wayne County, the
