COURSE DESCRIPTION:

This course is designed to give an opportunity to the student to gain an understanding of


the principles of administration and its application to nursing service; it is also assist the students to develop an
understanding of professional leadership need.

BEHAVIOURAL OBJECTIVES: At the end of the course the students will able to:

 Identify the principles of administration,

 Describe the techniques of supervision,

 Explain the methods of personnel management

 Explain the principles of budgeting,

 Organize and manage nursing unit effectively,

 Identify dynamics of organizational behavior, styles and functions of effective


leadership.
