PREVIEWS It’s the story of Parvez (Neil Nitin

Mukesh) who wants to be a part of
the India Shining dream. His life is
torn between his desperation to run
away with the love of his life Divya
(Shahana Goswami) who is married
to a corrupt encounter cop Chiple (Kay Kay Menon) and his commitment to his
family. Parvez needs to get rich and real quick. The problem is that he has no clue
how! When Parvez decides to steal Chiple’s ill-gotten money stashed in a flat, it sets
into motion a thrilling ride of emotions
that engulf not just his life but also of a
coffee delivery boy (Sikandar Agarwal).
The film is also the story of Priti (Soha
Ali Khan) and Vishal (Karan Nath). She
is a small time model fighting the good
fight and he the typical cocaine snorting
big dream loser on the invariable and
inexorable spiral into crime. Intertwined
in the lives of these characters are Chutta
(Vijay Maurya), a drug dealer who wants
to corporatize the trade, his eunuch
sugar momma Begum (Saurabh Shukla)
and a mysterious billionaire who gets drawn into their lives.
No other filmmaker in India has explored the psyche of people caught in diverse
circumstances with as much consistency as Sudhir Mishra. His films have for long
portrayed the changing nature of society and its relationships and ‘Tera Kya Hoga

GAME Johny’ is no exception.

Starring Neil Nitin Mukesh, Kay Kay Menon, Soha Ali Khan, Anurag Kashyap,
Shahana Goswami and Aditya Bhattacharya, the film is scheduled for a March

International Media Ltd’s GAME is a
slick, edge-of-the-seat crime thriller
with twists and turns and all the elements
that go into the making of such a film.
This whodunit tale tells the story of four
KUCH LUV JAISA
strangers-Abhishek Bachchan, Boman Irani,
Shahana Goswami and Jimmy Shergill, who
are invited by the reclusive Kabir Malhotra (Anupam Kher) to his private island
of Samos, in Greece. They are new to each other and new to him and by the next
morning will be all regretful of their decision to come. The story keeps everyone
guessing about the main suspect, even as everyone seems like a suspect.
What happens in a cat and mouse game... when the cat dies? GAME is a whodunit
with twists and turns through revenge, retribution, prostitution, drug empires and
good old-fashioned murder.
Spanning five international cities, this crime thriller sees a new twist to it every
10-odd minutes thus propelling the story in an entirely unforeseen direction. The
solution of the crime is a satisfying experience... where the audience has been shown
all the facts...but will they get there before the end?
Game, which is said to be loosely based on the Hollywood thriller, ‘The Italian
Job’, stars an ensemble cast featuring Abhishek Bachchan, Kangna Ranaut, Jimmy
Sheirgill, Anupam Kher, Boman Irani, Gauhar Khan, and Shahana Goswami and
introduces former Miss India Sarah Jane Dias. A co-production of Farhan Akhtar and
Ritesh Sidhwani under the banner of Excel Entertainment, the film was earlier titled,
‘Crooked’ but the producers later rounded it off to ‘Game’ after much deliberation.
This big-budgeted action thriller has been shot across the exotic locales of Greece,

Istanbul, London, Bangkok and India. Reportedly Abhishek Bachchan is said to
be counting on this film to consolidate his position at the box-office after the grim
response to his last release, ‘Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Se’.
The film has been directed by Abhinay Deo with Farhan Akhtar penning the
dialogues. Bollywood’s most successful trio Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy has scored the
music to the lyrical lines penned by Javed Akhtar.

surprises or little heartfelt gestures? To each his own...Madhu and
Raghav, two such people who try to steal light moment in their great
chase for happiness. While Madhu craves for her family’s attention and some

end up finding the leaps and highs of each other as well as their lives. The

Directed by a Barnali Ray Shukla, a relatively new name, the film stars
Rahul Bose, Shifaali Shah, Sumeet Raghvan and Neetu Chandra. We will have
to wait and watch out if the film does make a point.
