INTERNATIONAL INVITATION FOR TENDERS

PUNE METRO RAIL PROJECT

MAHARASHTRA METRO RAIL CORPORATION LTD

The MAHARASHTRA METRO RAIL CORPORATION LTD (hereinafter referred to as “the

Borrower”) has applied for a loan from the European Investment Bank – EIB (hereinafter
referred to as “the Bank”) – towards the cost of the PUNE METRO RAIL PROJECT. This
International Invitation for Tenders relates to the contract for “CONSTRUCTION OF 2 Nos.
ROLLING STOCK DEPOTS AT RANGE HILL & VANAZ INCLUDING CIVIL AND E&M WORKS
FOR PUNE METRO RAIL PROJECT.

This contract will include:

CONSTRUCTION OF 2 Nos. ROLLING STOCK DEPOTS AT RANGE HILL & VANAZ
INCLUDING CIVIL AND E&M WORKS FOR PUNE METRO RAIL PROJECT.

This contract is expected to be implemented from October’2018 to April’2021.

The criteria to be used in the tender evaluation are, in decreasing order of importance: [Enlisted
in Section-III].

All firms are invited to participate in the tender.

Interested eligible Tenderers may obtain further information from, and inspect the Tender
Documents at: Maha-Metro’s E-Tender Portal- https://mahametrorail.etenders.in

A complete set of Tender Documents may be purchased on the submission of an application

to the above address, and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of INR 1,00,000/- plus 18%
GST i.e. Total INR 1,18,000/ as per the procedure of E-Tender Portal of Maha-Metro bearing
the name of the project. On request, against a faxed copy of the evidence of the remittance,
the Tender Documents may be sent by courier service if the transport is previously ordered by
the Tenderer in his country. The Borrower bears no responsibility for the delivery in such a
case.

A Bid Security of INR 15,000,000/- fulfilling the conditions indicated in the Tender Documents
must accompany all tenders.

All tenders must be submitted online in envelopes bearing “Technical Package” & “Financial
Package” separately not later than 16.00 Hrs. on 30.08.2018 at the following address: E-
Tender Portal of Maha-Metro- https://mahametrorail.etenders.in . Tenders will be opened
immediately in the presence of Tenderers’ representatives who choose to attend.
