Version 2 Supplementary Manual

This manual explains the sampling functionality that was added in JUNO-G version 2. Please read this
manual in conjunction with the JUNO-G owner’s manual.

Quick Start
JUNO-G version 2 adds sampling functionality. You can sample
audio from external sources, such as an audio device, microphone,
or CD, and then assign the sample to a button so that it can be

While using a microphone to input sound, set the volume by
adjusting the INPUT AUDIO LEVEL knob located beside the MIC jack
and the AUDIO IN slider of the SONG RECORDER. Watch the level
meter at the left of the screen while you make adjustments.

7. Press [F6 (START)] to begin sampling.

8. Press [F5 (STOP)] to stop sampling.

Quick Start

Assigning your sample to a pad

14. Hold down [SHIFT] and press [F6 (To PAD)].


The ASSIGN TO PAD screen will appear.

15. Press [F6 (EXEC)] to assign the sample to PAD 1.


A confirmation screen will appear.

16. Press [F6 (EXEC)] once again.

17. Press [EXIT].


The PATCH PLAY screen will appear in sample pad mode.

Loading all Samples

A newly loaded sample, as well as any changes you’ve made in the
