Summer Camp Volunteer​ — Ponzone, IT 
June 2018 
Volunteered in a Summer Camp at a local farmhouse by supervising children in their 
tasks, play time and sport activities. Responsible for ensuring healthy interactions 
between kids, keeping them safe and maintaining adequate and respectful behavior. 
Encouraging kids to persevere through activities such as washing the dishes, making 
their beds in the mornings, going on hikes, or cleaning the animals’ stables while finding 
teachable moments through every small hardship. 
 

Volunteer Children Tutor​ ​— Genova, IT 

September 2019 to October 2020 
Provided tutoring for young children of immigrants who struggle to adapt to their new 
lifestyle while going through primary school. Working with the kids on using the Italian 
language while keeping up with the school curriculum, ensuring their study experience 
is positive and playful. Enforcing a judgement free space among children coming from 
very different cultures and pushing them to embrace both their own cultural heritage 
and the Italian culture.
