Subject: Request for financial assistance in relation to religious fiesta

and/or Barangay Day celebration in Barangay District III, Poblacion,
Sibalom, Antique.

Religious fiesta and Barangay Day are the annual celebration in Barangay District III, Poblacion,
Sibalom, Antique. In the said celebration most of our constituents from different barangays come
along to witness the events.

It has been eight (8) years since the last talent show or team building activities were organized
and conducted for the barangay. In the upcoming annual religious fiesta and Barangay Day
which is on 30 March 2019, the members Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) are planning to organize a
talent competition, laro ng lahi (cultural games), clean-up drive and basketball league as part of
the celebration and to make the event more joyful and meaningful.

As the youth leaders of the barangay with the spirit of Buroyluganay in Sibalom, we strongly
encourage the youth in these activities to develop and show their hidden talents, unity with our
constituents, patriotism and most of all to become environmentally aware.

In this connection, we wish to request from your good office for financial assistance any amount
you may deem appropriate as the SK as of this time cannot transact nor utilize the budget
allocated due to the absence of COA guidelines regarding this matter.
