MODULE 5 – Week 7 and 8

Performance Task

Competencies (MELC)

a. Produce a creative representation of a literary text by applying multimedia skills

(EN12Lit-Ie-31.1)
b. Apply ICT skills in crafting an adaptation of a literary text (EN12Lit-Ie-31.2)

Literary adaptation is the adapting of a literary source (e.g., a novel,

short story, play, poem) to another genre or medium, such as music, a
stage play, a ballet, an opera, a film, or even an animation. It can also
involve adapting the same literary work in the same genre or medium,
just for different purposes, e.g., to work with a smaller cast, in a smaller
venue, or a larger cast in a larger venue, or for a different demographic
group (such as adapting a story for children).

TASK:
Create an E-book version of your own literary adaptation of the movie,
FROZEN. The literary adaptation must be suitable for a certain
demographic group – for teenagers. Take note that you can adapt
different genre (horror, comedy, or even sci-fi version!) but stick with the
story plot.

Reminder:

Bondpaper size must be 8x11.

Save your file in PDF format.
Your E-book must contain illustrations.
Read the rubric first before crafting your E-book.
