Mental health

Mental health, According to Pluma Manila there’s lot of accident or suicide that happen
in the Philippines like for example A 20-year-old student from Capiz died in a road
accident on her way home from looking for an internet connection. Another 20-year old
student in Masbate had to climb a mountain to get internet access for her online
examinations. Compliance with school requirements. Academic in this situation of
pandemic can take a lot people can experience a mental health. Especially those who
are also struggling financially. Therefore, mental health must also be one of the aspects
that the Department of Education is looking into.

Conclusion

There are no perfect solutions to this complicated problem. But no one can deny that
the most pressing issue right now is containing this pandemic. Until we see more mass
testing efforts and government funds redirected to matters that are actually of
importance, It is our responsibility to speak up for those who are struggling to attend
online classes during this pandemic.

It would be more better an practical to postpone it to next year or maybe next next year,
so parents have ample time to prepare financially especially that many lost their jobs.
Pursuing opening of classes this year will surely add burdens to many.

Imagine staying online for weeks, paying for the internet, and going to computer shops,
and while our families are struggling and others have nothing to eat, thinking only how
to survive every day. Not everyone has a stable internet connection and it would be
hard, or worse, impossible for some students to reach a signal. Academic freeze
doesn’t mean we don’t want to study, we are all saying that online class in not effective,
we all want our students or me as a student to be safe from this virus. However,
ensuring the safety of these students shouldn’t come at cost of our education.
May we enlightened you in reality behind this online class, let us all be united to pursue
academic freeze

According to the meaning of psychology, Mental health includes our emotional,
psychological, and social well-being. It affects how we think, feel, and act. It also helps
determine how we handle stress, relate to others, and make choices. And because of
that, there are many links incidents happening relating to mental health.

According to Pluma Manila, there’s a lot of accidents or suicide that happen in


the Philippines lately since we are all experiencing the quarantine like, for example, A
20-year-old student from Capiz died in a road accident on her way home from looking
for an internet connection. Another is a 20-year old student in Masbate who had to climb
a mountain to get internet access for her online examinations, compliance with school
requirements, and many other more.

Academic in this situation of a pandemic can make a lot of people especially the
students that can trigger and may experience mental health issue. Especially those who
are also struggling financially. Therefore, mental health must also be one of the aspects
that the Department of Education and Commission on Higher Education is looking into.
DepEd and CHED should be aware of the welfare of the stakeholders of the society.

Conclusion
There are no perfect solutions to these pressing issues and problems that the
world facing right now because of the COVID-19 virus. But no one can deny that the
most pressing issue right now is for the welfare and mental health of all the people in
the society. Until we see more mass testing efforts for all, and government funds should
be redirected to what really matters and should prioritize. That is actually for the
common good. It is our responsibility to speak up for those who are struggling to attend
online classes during this pandemic.

opening of classes this year will surely add burdens to many.
Imagine staying online for almost 12 hours a day, and online for the whole week,
paying for the internet, and going to computer shops. Also, some of the families are
struggling and others have nothing to eat because they are thinking only about how to
survive every day. Not everyone has a stable internet connection and it would be hard,
or worse, impossible for some students to reach a signal especially here in the
Philippines, in East Asia we have the slowest internet connection. The academic freeze
doesn’t mean we don’t want to study, we are all saying that online class is not effective
as we can see, we all want our students or me as a student to be safe from this virus
and no is left behind. However, ensuring the safety of these students shouldn’t come at
cost of our education.
May we have enlightened you on the reality behind this online class. Let us all be
united to pursue academic freeze.
