Introduction
Architecture is a different course, unlike others which require you to sit in a gallery full of
students and listen to the drowsy lecture the professor indulges you in. Now when I say that, I do
not mean us architecture students are spared of the boring lectures, but when compared to other
courses, this course requires you to mostly sit in the studio and be as much creative as you can.

Our classrooms are called studios, and is equipped with a variety of instruments: a drafting board
with parallel bars for each student, personal lockers, projectors, lots of models and sheets and
other such things depending upon your course requirements. During the first three years, you are
required to bring many of your own items to college, example being the set squares, the special
pens, special colors, your sheet holders and so on. Some colleges also require you to bring your
laptops.

During the first two years, students are taught, are introduced to some design problem which
continues for one third or half of the session of that year (depending upon the no. Of design
problems they have to do per year). Apart from that we have a lot of other subjects to enhance
creativity, or to understand building construction and its structural details and so on. The
majority of work is done by the students themselves. The teachers just introduce the topic and
guide. How you are going to solve the issue depends upon your approach to design. The students
are busy drawing, sketching, drafting, or making small models or even the bigger ones during the
studio hours. The work of the teachers is to guide them.

Slowly, as you enter the later third year or the fourth year, the laptop and the software’s replace
every creative sheets. So during these years the students draft in their laptops or whatever they
are comfortable in.

How will people, deliveries, and construction equipment arrive?

Salford Studios is an on-demand music facility. This music facility is provided in the Salford
accommodations where the University of Salford students live during their academic years. As a
site development, this is a great opportunity for those students who love music and want to learn
or improve their music skills. Different studio houses in the University of Salford provide this
potential facility to the students of the University of Salford. This is a potential opportunity;
therefore, the arrival of people, deliveries, and the equipment of construction matter most here.
Different strategies will be followed in this scenario. These strategies include heavy machinery
for the supply of the equipment of construction at the targeted place that will help to continue
working according to the plan. For the equipment supply on the floors other than the ground
floor, heavy machinery will be hired. All the deliveries will make sure on time because regarding
the construction and other working at any of the sites; the major concern is eth delivery of the
required things or the equipment on time. For this purpose, there will be dealing with the
suppliers who can meet the requirements within the given deadline because the time is the most
important factor in this scenario that identified any of the plans before the proper working. All of
these strategies will be included in the plan of the Salford Studios. The maintenance is another
major factor that must be taken into consideration for the success of the Salford Studios.

Facilities provided by studio
Another major concern for Salford Studios is the facility that it provides to the people. There
may be different scenarios where complete planning is necessary to make this potential
opportunity more reliable for the University of Salford students. There will be an appropriate
arrangement for the people who will visit there. For this purpose, there will be an appropriate
parking area to facilitate people to not face any inconvenience while they park their vehicles.
There will be stairs and the elevator to reach the first, second, and other floors so that people or
the visitors can reach their decided place with ease and can avail of this potential opportunity of
the music. There will also be good musical instruments delivered on time by the supplier to make
sure that people will not face any difficulty, and they will be satisfied with the Salford Studios at
the University of Salford. To achieve these targets, it is important that a valuable strategy must
be formed; therefore, there will be a strategic plan to achieve the on-time arrival of the people,
deliveries, and the equipment of construction at the Salford Studios in the University of Salford.

Hazards
The main hazard in this orientation and location is the presence of signals outside of the building
that can create difficulty for the visitors. And the probability of a building to be flooded depends
on the source of a flood near the building, like a sea, river, or wastewater route. According to the
map study, we can say that food can be an issue for this area in the future. River, or excessive
surface water, or rainwater can cause flooding that will be harmful to the building. And there is a
flood risk assessment suggested in this specific area by the experts due to the presence of large
river near the university and away from this structure.

Studio facility usage

A studio apartment, which is also known as a studio flat, contains a self-contain room. It is
usually a small apartment which combines a living room, kitchen and bedroom. A studio
apartment is somewhere like a serviced apartment, everything in one room.

On the other hand, a serviced apartment is known to be fully furnished and available for both
short-term as well as long-term stays. It also includes soft-furnishings and some cooking utensils.
They also have services like housekeeping, front desk, parking and others.
The only difference that service apartment has is that it has the facilities as compared to a 4 star
or maybe a 5 star facilities which includes laundry (he would come and pick the clothes…iron

them), maid who would clean the room and other services of wake up call. Otherwise everything
which is there in a studio apartment is there in service Apartment.
