Programmed using John Melas ES Editor & Total Librarian

Thank you for purchasing "Orchestr'Ale" library for ES Series (Motif ES, S90ES &
Rack ES), MO and Motif XS.

This library contains 32 User Voices using only internal waveforms. Each bank of 32
Voices is available in one of four control set variations (see below) that offer different
ways that you can control volume:

Section A/B controls volume via keyboard velocity.

Section C/D lets you controls volume using the modulation wheel.

Section E/F lets you use a BC3 Breath Controller to control volume.

Section G/H lets you use an FC7 pedal (connected to FC1 input) to control volume.

Everything is set up ready to use. Choose your play mode andthen play or record your
music.

Insert and Master Effects

Insert and Master effects have not been programmed into these voices.

The ES series and Motif XS allow you to have insert effects turned "on" for 8 voices in a
Song/Pattern mix.

MO 6/8 allows you to have insert effects turned "on" for 3 voices in a Song/Pattern mix.
When you create or playing back MIDI/song files of classical music you need to choose
which may or may not have them "on".

With Orchestr'Ale, you don't need to choose, just place up to 16 Orchestr'Ale Voices on
the mix and each instrument will sound exactly as it does in Voice mode!

This is very important, and offers a fast and hassle-free way to work on your workstation
or with your software sequencer.

Controllers

Using controllers is also a good way to create more realism.

The Assignable Knobs 1 and 2, Mod Wheel, and Ribbon, are pre-programmed to make
appropriate tonal changes for many Voices in this library.

Loading Instructions (Motif ES / XS)

WARNING: DON'T FORGET TO BACK UP YOUR DATA BEFORE TO LOADING

ANY FILE !

Open the folder that corresponds to your model Motif / S90.

Inside you will find an All folder, All Voices folder, All Song folder, and Editor folder.

Transfer the All file (.w7a & .w8a for Motif ES or .XOA for Motif XS ) from your
computer to your USB drive.

Connect the USB flash drive to your Motif and open the file menu.

For Type file, select "All" and check "without system" on the Motif ES type "All without
system" on the Motif XS.

This option "without system" lets you not erase your utility set up.

Load the Orchestr"Ale "All" file, you can find each set of 32 voices on the User1 voice,
1 Orchestrale Drum kit on User Drums 1 bank and the song file create by Alessandro.

You can select the All Voice file to load only the Voices, or the All Song file to load only
the song..
If you prefer to work with the Yamaha Editor, open the Editor Folder and use your
Yamaha software Editor to bulk the voices.

The Motif XS Editor file allows you also to bulk the mix of the Alessandro song.

For Motif ES use the multipart Editor folder and file.

Loading Instructions (Motif Rack ES, S90ES / MO)

Open the "Motif rack ES - MO - S90 Es Voices Editors files" folder and selectthe
appropriate file folder.

Use the Yamaha Voice Editor file to bulk the 128 voices & 1 user drum voice of
Orchestr'Ale.

Use the Multipart editor folder and file to bulk the mix.

For MO and S90 Es you can load the MIDI file to listen the Alessendro song.

For Rack ES, use you sequencer software.

.John Melas Total Librarian users

If you have the John Melas Total Librarian software you will find on the "John Melas
Editor Files", one ES and one XS Librarian file.

All the ES/MO Total Librarian software can open the ES file.
Open the transmit window and check User1 and DR User box to bulk all the Voices :
Cubase Users

In the "Cubase Files" folder you will find Cubase 4 file project, Cubase LE file project
and Cubase AI file project :

Open the project for your version of Cubase, select your MIDI port for each track (USB
connection, Mlan connection, Sound card port) and listen the Alessandro Song :

Other software sequencers

Use the MIDI file in the "Midifile" folder and import it on your software.
