1. How did primitive art become significant to art history?

- For me, primitive art becomes significant to art history,
because it is about the culture, the people, the unique
technique of making the artwork and their vision of making
art. but the interest in the primitive arts also pointed to a
nostalgic tendency to prioritize a pre-industrial past in
which one's relation to nature was primary.

2. of the different artworks discussed, which among them

you like most and why?
- of the different artworks discussed, I chose the
‘Stonehenge’s’ because Stonehenge’s is the most
architecturally sophisticated prehistoric stone circle in the
world, and I am still curious about that and why did the
artist made that kind of work. But behind that I respect the
artist’s vision when he/she made the Stonehenge. But
when I look at Stonehenge’s photos, it reminded me of
being merely glimpse moments of it through our lives and I
think that is beautiful.
3. How are art and religion interrelated with each other
during the Egyptian civilization?
- Egyptian religion was System of beliefs/rituals, with
mystical (non human like) gods. Religion centered on the
pharaoh (king) of Egypt. Pharaoh was believed to be
descended from gods.
Their art was related to messages/drawings to help the
deceased to live forever by giving them instructions when
they meet the gods on their way to eternal life. Also
preservation of knowledge of the past. Although much is
known, there is still much that remains a mystery.
