Dear Parent,
We hope this email finds you and your family safe and in good health.
Over the last few weeks, the academic team has been taking the online classes forward and we
have completed a considerable segment of the syllabus. To assess the learning outcome, we
will begin a formal assessment, for the academic year 2020-2021. Kindly note that this
endeavour is only to assess the teaching - learning process. These are very short, easily doable
assessments. Please help your child attempt the assessments by supervising them.
The assessments will be posted to your child's Google Classroom on the dates mentioned in the
datesheet.
Your child is expected to complete the assessment and submit on the same day.
Please find detailed guidelines to help your child take the assessments independently.

 PURPOSE of ASSESSMENT
Learning is a continuous process. The assessment for learning is an important tool to modify
teaching learning activities and to ensure effective outcome of student learning. We, therefore,
commence the assessment process by following these simple steps.

BEFORE YOUR WARD ATTEMPTS AN ASSESSMENT

1) Ensure you have a good internet connection.
2) Use Chrome browser. Do not use any other internet browser.
3) Kindly monitor the student during the test and ensure he/she completes the exam on
time.
4) Kindly ensure the answer scripts are scanned and sent within the stipulated time given.
5) Ensure your ward maintains the sanctity of examinations.

PREPARATORY INSTRUCTIONS
Complete revison of lessons taught as per Assessment portions shared.
Revisit the modules and refer to the video and content presentation in the Google
Classrooms. This will help in better preparation
Attempt the revision worksheets that are modelled on the assessment pattern. This will
help your ward get familiar with the assessment process

ASSESSMENT PROCEDURE
The question paper will be provided to the students in two ways:
a) Home assignment- Wherein the question paper will be sent after school hours.
a. Assessment timings -11:45 am -12:15 pm
b. The student has to complete the assessment and submit by 12:45 pm
b) Shared screen mode: Wherein the question paper will be shared by the teachers on the
screen during class hours
a. The student will need to complete the assessment during class hours.
b. The answers are to be written in the assessment notebook (a separate notebook
to be maintained for all subjects).
c. After completion of the assessment, the answer script is to be scanned and
uploaded by 11:30 am
