COMMUNICATION TO PARENTS

Dear Parent,

We are greatly encouraged by the student response to the first Online Assessment. We are pleased to
see an increased level of teaching-learning engagement. Furthermore, we hope that the recently
concluded formal assessment has helped students settle into the routine and become more
comfortable with the online assessment environment.

Please find below the guidelines, datesheet and portions for the Half Yearly Assessments. These
detailed guidelines will help your child take the assessments

independently; however, you are requested to supervise your children when they attempt them.

Thank you for supporting the school and encouraging your children to do their best during the
assessment.

PREPARATION

 Complete revison of lessons taught as per Assessment portions shared.

 Revisit the modules and refer to the video and content presentation in the Google
Classrooms. This will help in better preparation
 Attempt the revision worksheets that are modelled on the assessment pattern. This will
help your ward get familiar with the assessment process

DETAILED GUIDELINES

1. Ensure that your ward has a quiet place to complete the assessment
2. Ensure a good bandwidth and uninterrupted power supply to help your ward complete and
turn in their assessments on time
3. Teachers will be present in the Exam Room, monitoring your child taking the assessment via
Google Meet
4. Your supervision will also be necessary when your ward takes an assessment
Assessments will be conducted in two phases - shorter assessments will be conducted from
25th Sept to 8th Oct, 2020
5. Regular classes will be suspended from 9th Oct - 16th Oct. This is the period when the formal
assessments will be conducted
6. Each subject will have assessments at two assigned time slots in a day. Portions will remain
the same
7. Shared screen mode (applicable only for Mental Maths): Wherein the question paper will be
shared on the screen during class hours
