    The LAVI project was led by OVADIA HARARI. It started in 1979, performed its first flight
    on Dec. 31st, 1986 and was cancelled by the Israeli government on Aug. 30th, 1987.

    In a step by step presentation, the main following topics will be elaborated:

     The circumstances that led to the development of our own combat aircraft.
     The gained experience that enabled the development of the LAVI.
     The stages of the LAVI development.
     The LAVI (performance, systems, costs).
     The various factors involved in cancelling the project.
     Ovadia Harari z”l - the "heart" of the LAVI project.

    The talk will be given in Hebrew
