Pre-Lesson 1. Write the titles of the 2 reading texts - How paper is recycled and How glass is
recycled with the words in the wrong order on the board.
2. Teacher asks students to sequence the words in the 2 titles in the right order.
While-Lesson 1. Divide the class into 2 big groups and each group is given a set of text.
(Different topic)
2. Students match the text to the correct pictures.
3. Teacher checks students’ answer.
4. Each group sends a representative to retell the process.
5. Two groups take turn to post questions to the other group. The other group
needs to answer the questions based on their understanding.
6. If the other group is unable to answer the questions posted, the respective group
needs to explain and give answers.
Post-Lesson 1. Students recap on the key ideas of the ways of paper recycling and glass
recycling.
