 INTRODUCTION PRECAUTIONS AND SAFETY

The Purpose of the manual is to inform the operator by means of descriptions and drawings
of the basic rules and criteria which must be observed when using and maintaining the Fixed
crane.

The Fixed crane has been built for vertical lifting, handing and laying sleepers and rails on
wagon. Do not use the fixed crane for purpose and operations other than those it has been
designed and built for.

Before starting the crane, make sure there is no one in the operating area and no obstruction
that could hit against the moving parts of the crane. Always operate the lever with power up
load handling variability and at proper control operations.

Do not use the controls or hoses as holds. These parts move and cannot provide stable
support. Further, mistakenly moving a control can accidentally set the crane in motion.

Never use your fingers to align the holes or slots. Always use the appropriate centering tools.

Do not use a naked flame as light – up when carrying out checks in the machine.

Before disconnecting the fittings or hoses, ensure that there are no pressurized fluids present
in the circuit. Escaping pressurized oil can cause serious injury.

Before operating crane, make sure that the vehicle is stabilized and parking brake is on.

Make sure the hook can rotate freely on its pin.

Do not use the crane near electric power cables.

The operator must check that there is no one within the operating radius of the crane.
When you are handling unpacked materials with the help of pickup implements which cannot
grant a safe grip of the load, the crane must operate within barriers that prevent access to
people.

Never attempt to use the machine when its safety devices are not in working order.
