time of Pres. Emilio Aguinaldo. It was written be Ambrosio Rianzares Bautista. You can also

This document highlights the struggles and hardships of the people behind the freedom we
have today. It brings us back to the time where the price of freedom cost so much for us and
for our country. Nevertheless, through all of this, there are people who stood up at the cost of
their own blood and life on the line to fight for our country. People who at all cost would do
everything to see the Philippine Flag hoist above the clouds and wave freely and gently with
the wind as if she looks down with care and love for its people free from all oppressions.

What is the significant contribution of this document to the Philippine History?


This document is a great way to looked back at the past and see the things our ancestors did
for us. It helps to become more patriotic to this country because it tells us of their struggles
and hardships. Through this document we are able to know and understand our past that will
help us deal with our future.

Your significant learning experiences from the documents/source/event:


I learned of dreadful part of our history that it is not easy to achieve total freedom for the
country. This document teaches me to reflect on myself that somehow, someone in the past
who did not even know me did so much for me and for this country. I will love my country
more and devote myself to become a better citizen from now on.
