Proposed Methodology: Choose one from three solution

1. Zimbra Open Source Edition:

ZCS open source edition is totally free to use (no need to buy any license). And it
has almost all security features like Microsoft Exchange mail solution. Moreover, we
can apply security feature to ensure smooth running of email service. All we need is
to properly maintain the ZCS server.

Nowadays many user (company) using this solution without having any trouble.

Only maintenance cost is needed.

Prerequisite:
1. A server with Centos operating system.

2. Domain for the mail server (need to purchase from domain provider like
Godaddy.com) (if customer has domain, then just need to add the mail
server IP)

3. DNS parking service need to be managed from the ISP which will cost
5000 tk/month (this one is included in monthly maintenance)

4. Outlook/Zdesktop/mobile app can be used with Zimbra for user based

email access (Zdesktop is free for use and similar to Outlook) (if customer
want, can purchase outlook client soft license-as per market standard)

5. Security feature can be maintained.

6. SSL cert for online access need to purchase (optional, can be added later
if customer want.)- $ 995 (one year solution), for two years- $ 1,790 (if
they approved)

Email Service Support:

We are offer 24*7/ 8*5 support service for email support service.

1. For initial installation: 20000tk

Monthly Maintenance Charge: 20,000 TK (If needed 24*7 Support) or

15,000 TK (If needed 8*5 Support) or
Per Visit Service Charge: 5,000 TK (One Day Service Charge)

Or

Annual Maintenance contract or AMC- 300000 TK

 2. Exchange Server:
In exchange server Licensing, there are few things that need to notice.

1. Exchange can be online (cloud service) basis:

In this criteria per user need to pay 600 TK/month (standard

feature) (price will vary for further feature, like online mail/ archive
storage etc.)
In this criteria we can use Office365 email solution.

2. Server based Licensing (Using your own server):

Server can be purchased either standard/ enterprise edition. o

Exchange enterprise cost- 4,10,000 Tk
o Exchange Standard cost – 90,000 Tk
o Client Access License (per user) – 6000 Tk

Prerequisite:

Below points are required for Exchange server Installation:

1. Active Directory (if you are using own server then an additional server
need to manage Active directory)
2. Domain for the mail server (need to purchase)
3. DNS parking service need to purchase additionally (it can be managed from
the ISP) which will cost 8000 Tk/month
4. Outlook or any other client software to access mail need to purchase
additionally.
5. Security feature need to purchase additionally. However there some free
tools. But those are not full proof solution.
Note:
Normally without government sector most of the users use crack version of
Exchange Server. Though it has lots of vulnerability, Maximum user’s go for crack
version.
 3. Zimbra Licensed Version:
1. Zimbra Enterprise edition (comes with Zimbra support) with standard feature.

Per user annually need to pay 6000 TK/year- it is an online solution

Additional support service charge is needed to add with this

solution.

Email Service Support:

We can offer 24*7/ 8*5 support service for email support service. (it will be vary)

For initial installation: 80,000 TK

Monthly Maintenance Charge: 22,000 TK (If needed 24*7 Support) or

16,000 TK (If needed 8*5 Support) or
Per Visit Service Charge: 5,000 TK (One Day Service Charge)
