    CLARIFICATIONS FOR THE 3RD SURANA & SURANA UILS ENVIRONMENTAL LAW

    MOOT COURT COMPETITION, 2019

    1. Are the articles 14, 19 and 21 mentioned in the moot proposition pari materia to the

    Indian Constitution? 

    - YES.

    2. Can we use Statistical Data calculated by Indian Government for Tyler Government?

    Does all National Population Surveys apply on Tyler Government as well?

    - NO.

    3. In para 16, the moot preposition says that if any person infringes the said direction of law,

    he/ shall not be entitled to any benefit under any existent scheme of the government. Who

    is "he" in this case? Whether it includes father and mother separately or both or is it for

    the new born child?

    - IT INCLUDES BOTH.

    4. In the Annexure 1 - TWO CHILD ORDINANCE 2019, Section 2 and Section 10 (2)

    states this ordinance as a Act. Kindly clarify is it act or ordinance? 

    - WHEREVER THE WORD “ACT” IS BEING USED IN ANNEXURE-I KINDLY

    READ IT AS (ORDINANCE).
