Festival de San Juan – Dialogue

Jhonathan: Hi Henry. How are you?

Henry: Hi Jhonathan. I’m fine. How about you?
Jhonathan: I’m Ok. what are you going to do this weekend?
Henry: Sorry, I’m not in Lima. I'm on vacation.
Jhonathan: Really! Where are you?
Henry: I’m in Iquitos, Loreto.
Jhonathan: What are you doing in Iquitos?
Henry: I will celebrate the festival of San Juan.
Jhonathan: Interesting! When is the festival?
Henry: It is on June 23 and June 24. I'm sorry for no tell you. My
friend invited me to travel.
Jhonathan: No problem! Have fun. What’s type of festival is it?
Henry: It´s an art festival and food festival.
Jhonathan: Ok! So… What activities are carried out at the festival?
Henry:
Well… The gastronomic activities starts on 23th june for the whole
day. They cook varieties of traditional foods. People compete in a
food contests.
The artistic activities starts on 24th june for the whole day. People
perform traditional dances. They wear traditional costumes and they
compete to be the best.
Jhonathan: Sounds good. I happy for you. How long is your
vacation?
Henry: My vacation is from June 15 to June 30. After that, I will
return to Lima.
Jhonathan: Great! I hope you have a lot of fun. Good-bye Henry.
