The fastest way to get to Bohol from Manila is by plane and there are multiple flights in a day to
choose from. You can fly from Manila to Tagbilaran, Bohol through different airlines namely,
Philippine Airlines, Cebu Pacific, and Air Asia Zest. A normal flight will take up to 1 hour and 40 or 50
minutes. You also have the option of flying by plane from Manila to Mactan, Cebu, and then riding the
ferry from Cebu to Bohol, which only takes two hours.

You can also go to Bohol via ferry from Manila South Harbor to Tagbilaran City Wharf. This trip is ideal
if you have time in yoiur hands as it will take you from 28 to 30 hours. Though a long trip, a ferry ride
will enable you to enjoy a magnificent view of the sea and islands along the way. However, it is best to
travel by ship during the summer to enjoy a safe and peaceful voyage.

From Tagbilaran City, there are a couple of public transportation options to go to the different tourist
destinations in Bohol. You can choose to ride the taxi or tricycle or rent a van. Taxis are common in
Tagbilaran City. If you plan to hire a taxi for a trip out of town, you have to prepare to pay at least
twice your fare. Tricycles are ideal for short distance trips. You can also take a bus at the Integrated
Bus Terminal at Dao where you can go to Tagbilaran to Talibon. There are also vans that travel to
