TP 1 – 4 according to pressure of compressor TP 1 = 8Bar

TP 2 = 10Bar
TP 3 = 13Bar
TP 4 = 15 Bar
Should any adjustments of the Factory limit values be required then these must be adjusted
only in TP 0, first select the correct TP value 1 – 4 for the type of pressure, this will copy the set
values to TP 0, once copied enter TP 0 and adjust only the values to be changed, the
compressor should then be left operating in TP 0 with the new set values.

Possible settings in TP 0 are as follows:

K1 x 1, Max pressure 3 – 16 bar

K1 x 2, Centre temp for fan thermostat 0 – 110 deg C

K1 x 3, Delta T of fan switching 1 – 20 deg C

K1 x 4, Fan on time after power off 10 – 120 sec’s

K1 x 5, Max temp cut out 0 – 125 deg C

K1 x 6, Fan status / alarm

K1 x 7, Star / Delta time 0 – 15 seconds

K1 x 8, Soft stop timer 0 – 75 seconds

V09.98eng 5
K1 x 9, Blow down time 0 – 240 seconds

K1 x 10, Base time

K1 x 11, Total hours

K1 x 12, Load hours

K1 x 13, Return to max pressure.

Ensure all TP values are checked before putting machine back into service.

MENU 11 Digital inputs

DANGER

Adjustment of the digital inputs from their original settings could prevent the
compressor from starting !

K1 x 2, Input NR 4 = N/C

K1 x 3, Input NR 5 = N/O

K1 x 4, Input NR 6 = N/O

K1 x 5, Input NR 7 = N/O

K1 x 6, Input NR 8 = N/O

Input NR 1 can not be changed as this is always N/C and assigned to Emergency Stop.

OPERATION

During normal operation the compressor shows the operating status and the current receiver
pressure.

When first switching on the display will light and scroll through its start procedure. If A1c
illuminates then the power should be switched off at the supply and two incoming phases
should be reversed, once the power is restored press button K6 to re-set.

Press button K2 to start the compressor, the display will show A 0.0 or C 0.0 depending on
whether automatic or continuous run has been chosen ( see menu 1 ). When the intake valve
solenoid is energised to load the compressor an LED will illuminate next to the A or C, the 0.0
will rise with the pressure in the tank until the compressor off-loads at its maximum pressure
( see menu 1 ) If after 5 minutes there is no requirement for air then the compressor will shut
down in “ auto shutdown “ and will automatically re – start upon a requirement for air.

Whilst the power is on to the compressor button K1 can be used to scroll the following
information

K1 x 1, Discharge air / oil temperature (permanent display with twin display unit)

K1 x 2, Total run hours

K1 x 3, Loaded hours

K1 x 4, Hours left to service

K1 x 5, Back to pressure display

To stop the compressor press button K3 and the compressor will run for approximately 30
seconds depending on setting ( see menu 10 )
The emergency stop button SB2 will stop the compressor immediately.
The maintenance warning lights are pre – programmed and not adjustable, the following values
are programmed and after service should be re – set via menu 2.

When oil change is required display will show OIL cH
Procedure is repeated with the exception of 100Hr service.
NOTE!
This applies to software up to E09, for later units use new Menu 12 to programme intervals and
modified re-set procedure as in Menu 2.
