Dear MISS AMEMASOR,

ADMISSION TO BACHELOR'S DEGREE PROGRAMME, 2020/2021 ACADEMIC YEAR

1. I write to offer you admission into the University of Health and Allied Sciences. You have been admitted to Level 100 of a SIX year Degree
programme in BACHELOR OF MEDICINE/SURGERY as a Fee Paying student.
2. You are to report on Saturday, January 9, 2021 and participate in compulsory programme of orientation on Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at North
Campus (Trafalgar) auditorium.
3. Registration and Medical examination begin from Monday, January 11, 2021 to Friday, January 15, 2021. The University requires that you are declared
medically fit by a qualified medical doctor appointed by the University.
4. Your Index Number is UHAS20206609. Use this number and a copy of your Admission Letter as proof for the payment of your fees. Your Index Number
should be quoted on the pay-in-slip of all FEES and all other official University activities throughout your programme duration.
5. You are required to make a payment of TEN THOUSAND EIGHT HUNDRED AND SIX GHANA CEDIS NINETY-FOUR PESEWAS (GHC
10806.94) as fees for the 2020/2021 academic year, for your programme of study. The breakdown of the fees is as follows:
University Charges - 5337.94
Other Approved Charges - 5469.00
Total - GHC 10806.94
6. You are required to make all payments into the University of Health and Allied Sciences Students Fee Account at any branch of Agricultural
Development Bank, GCB Bank or Zenith Bank on the Transflow platform by Tuesday, December 22, 2020. Failure to do so would result in the
forfeiture of your admission. Note that FEES paid are not refundable.
7. Your admission is for the 2020/2021 academic year only and if you fail to enroll or withdraw from the programme you forfeit the admission
automatically. You will be required to complete a fresh set of application forms if you are to be considered for admission in a subsequent year.
8. Please note that if it is discovered subsequently that you do not possess the qualifications on the basis of which you have been offered admission to the
University, you will be withdrawn and made to face any appropriate sanctions. The original copies of your certificate(s) will be verified to complete
your registration.
9. You will be required to adhere to ALL University rules and regulations as contained in the Students Handbook. Students are considered to be on
probation for the duration of their programme and they would be dismissed at any time for unsatisfactory performance or misconduct.
10. Please note that the University is a secular institution and is not bound by the observance of any religious or sectarian practices. As much as possible,
University lectures and/or examinations would be scheduled to take place within official working days, but where it is not feasible, lectures and
examinations would be held on other days.
11. The University does not give financial assistance to students. It is therefore the responsibility of students to arrange for their own sponsorship and
maintenance during the period of study.
12. You have been assigned to TRAFALGA HOSTEL as your Hall of Residence. You are to report directly to the Hall for the Hall Warden to allocate a
room for you.
13. A change of programme is not allowed during your studentship at the University.
