Document Checklist to Get a Visa (Buenos Aires)


A Valid Passport • You must bring your physical passport with you to the consulate. You must also bring a
copy of the bio and signature pages.
• Your passport must be valid at least 6 months beyond your intended date of departure and
have at least two blank visa pages.

• You should fill this form out electronically, print it, and sign it before you go to the
consulate.

C Two recent • You can have these taken at the StudentLink Center ($10 for two photos).

D Proof of Legal • If you are not applying from your country of citizenship:
Immigration Status • Original and copy of visa or residence permit for country in which you are applying. i.e.
I-20 and F-1 visa or US permanent resident card for non-US citizens applying from the
US; Spanish student visa for any student applying in Spain, etc.

E Sworn Statement • Sworn Statement Document must be printed and signed in front of the consul.

F Proof of Financial • You must show proof of sufficient funds to cover your stay and study expenses in

Visa processing fee • All students applying for a student visa for informal studies in New York will pay a fee of
$150.
