Warmest greetings of Peace!

The Provincial Youth For Peace Siquijor is now on its 2nd year Anniversary on December
10, 2020.

The Youth Leadership Summit is a Peace Education program initiated by the Youth for
Peace in coordination with its partner institutions from the LGU, NGO, DSWD, Church
groups, PNP and the Philippine Army.

In line with the celebration of our 2nd Year Anniversary and International Human Rights
Day, we will be having our Peace Advocacy Project in partnership with SK Provincial
Federation, Provincial KKDAT Siquijor, 47 th Infantry Battalion-Philippine Army (Siquijor
based), Office of the Provincial Governor and Provincial Vice Governor on December 10-
18, 2020. This is in collaboration with the LGU Enrique Villanueva headed by Hon.
Gerold V. Pal-ing, with the theme, “Nagkakaisang Kabataang Siquijor Laban sa
panlilinlang ng CPP-NPA-NDF tungo sa mas mapayapang Probinsya”. Siquijor
Province being insurgency free, the youth leaders together with the Provincial
Government of Siquijor would like to maintain its status and aims to prevent our youth
not to be deceived by the wrong ideology of CPP-NPA-NDF. The following activities are
as follows:

December 10, 2020 - Peace Rally Campaign and Peace Advocacy Symposium
 Launching of Partnership between SKPF, YFP and KKDAT Siquijor

Signing of Commitment for Peace and Insurgency Free Province

December 15, 2020 – Feeding Program for LGU Maria and Lazi

December 16, 2020 – Feeding Program for LGU Siquijor and San Juan

December 17, 2020 – Feeding Program for LGU Larena and Enrique Villanueva

December 18, 2020 – Awarding of Winners for Essay Writing Contest, Digital Poster
Making Contest, Song Writing Composition Contest and Short Film Making Contest

The series of activities shall be participated by SK Leaders, partner government

agencies and other representatives from different youth organizations, to serve as a
platform for them to discuss, provide insights on the current peace and security
situation in their respective municipalities and to educate them on how to combat the
CPP-NPA-NDF Recruitment.
In relation thereof, may we respectfully request your presence on this Peace Builders
gathering or your able representative to join the said program on December 10,
2020, 8:00AM at Siquijor Boulevard as the second starting point of the Peace
Rally Campaign. We would also like to request two (2) vehicles for the said event to
be use as the means of transportation of some participants. Kindly bring your own DIY
streamers in accordance with our theme. After the Peace Rally Campaign, we’ll proceed
to Enrique Villanueva Function Hall for the short program and signing of commitment
for Peace.
