Investigation Report For the Root Cause to Managing Director

(Ravishing Ltd)

Introduction:
This report describes solutions to a problem regarding the series of strikes that took place at the
manufacturing facility in Jhansi and evaluates possible solutions and recommends the most effective
way to stop the Strikes.

This report contains detailed research that includes observations, client reviews, document analysis,
surveys, and any other means of useful data collection. In most cases, a team of consultants who
have undertaken full research to produce the report collectively prepares recommendation reports.
However, before proposing or recommending a solution, let us dive into the details.

Statement of the Problem:


The purpose of this study was to determine the negative effects of stress on employees and the
methods employers use to manage employees' stress.

Finding #1: Problem with Machines

I've been advised that the equipment hasn't been updated in the last 30+ years, and my document
reveals that 19 employees were seriously injured while manufacturing. Safety is emerging as a
priority and a core principle among many other manufacturing companies A strong, positive safety
culture is more valuable than a culture of compliance.

Recommendations:

Please upgrade and replace the old equipment with second-hand equipment that can be easily
identified. Provide steel toe shoes and secure glasses to staff. Summer days can be extremely hot,
and since the factory doesn't have air conditioning, management makes sure the employees keep
cool by supplying lots of ice water, electrolyte drinks so that the workers don't overheat.

Findings #2: Problem with Probational Period

Newbies have a probationary term of 150 days, which is sort of cruel.

Recommendations:

The standard number of days for probationary terms is 90. Please update companies’ probationary
agreement that comes under your management.

Finding #3: Problem with Shift hours

There are three 9-10 hour shifts for the department that makes regular bathing soap, while other
divisions, such as detergents, have just two shifts. My analysis reports and the stats show that even
though the Soap Department does 9 Hour 2 shifts, the businesses still make profits out of it. Also,

Recommendations:

All departments should follow the 2-shift procedure, else the pay for the 3-shift department would
be $20/Hr (current: $15/Hr).

Conclusion:
Based on the findings, several conclusions concerning the effects of stress on employees can be
drawn. The findings of this study indicated stress and injustice do negatively affect the work
performance of employees. Job satisfaction and productivity were indicated as two areas most
affected are the Daily Bathing soap department and Other departments that do 3 shifts.

Managing Director is requested to update the management policies assuring all employees will now
have an Insurance and the above recommendations. Any questions or concerns will be addressed at
the board of meeting that is going to take place on 01-05-2021 in Ravishing LTD.
