Nuts

1/16” Gap

Adjust the heights of the nuts, so that the seal is


about 1/16” above the bottom test plate.

Test
Bung

Sleeve
O’Ring

Put the test bung into the end of the sleeve. Ensure
that there is an o’ring in the sleeve.

Test Bung installed into the cartridge sleeve.

Test

Install Test Sleeve/Housing


over the end of the seal as shown.

Assemble the top half of the air test rig.

Install the nuts to the test rig and tighten.

Attach the compressed air line and proceed with the


air test.

Air Test Procedure

• Test Pressure: 25 psi of air

•Test Duration of 5 Minutes


•Acceptable Air Loss of 2 psi Maximum
•When the seal is first pressurised allow the test pressure to
settle and stabilise (this may take a few seconds).
