RATIONALE:
Article XIII, Section II of the constitution provides that the State Shall adopt an Integrated and comprehensive
approach to Health Development which shall endeavor to make essential goods, Health and other social services to all
the people.
TESDA, as one of the a government agencies, anchored its programs, services and activities in the national government
thrusts specifically in addressing the needs of women. It is in this premise that the BNVTS proposed this Term of
Reference intended to conduct series of activities that would benefit the women of its service area. The RAs 9710,
10354, 9208 amended by 10364 will be the basis of the activities.
The series of programs/services & activities aims to augment the social, economic and health condition of the
marginalized sectors specially the women.
Expected Output: After the activities, participants / beneficiaries are expected to learn and apply any of the skills
developed and knowledge acquired for them to be more productive and contributory to the improvement of the
community.
Proposed Programs/Activities:
1. Distribution of Health/Hygiene Kit to in-school based enrolled PWD women- Php 2,000.00
2. Lecture on Family Planning and Covid-19 Prevention and Distribution of Health/Hygiene Kit to mothers &
expectant mothers- Php 5,250.00
3. Conduct of Gender-Sensitive and other GAD related activity (seminar on salient provisions of RAs 9710, 10354,
9208 amended by 10364 )- Php 1, 750.00
