1. Education philosophy is the branch of applied or practical philosophy dealing with the essence
and goals of education. Explain the statement

2. The content of the curriculum and the objectives and roles of education, based on the theory of
education, is the question of what should be taught to learners at all levels of education. Explain
the statement.

3. A teacher should be able to coordinate a sequence of teaching based on expectations, execute


the plan effectively, and then assess student learning. A teacher should be able to create an
enjoyable atmosphere for learning that makes it hard for students not to learn. Explain the
statement.

4. Students want and need to learn as much as food, clothes, and shelter are needed. The primary
role of an educator is to satisfy the primary need for learning by developing every day
stimulating and meaningful learning experiences. The greatest gift that a teacher may offer
students is to inspire them to achieve repeated progress in learning. Explain the statement

5. Which of the philosophies of education would you classify as authoritarian? What would be non-
authoritarian? Why?

6. Each of the philosophies of education is linked to each other, describing the similarities and
