problems that will face any project or business for this company into
theses societies
2. I agree with that as if the company didn’t solve this conflict between their
culture and the local culture they will lose their business in this society and
many MNC already did that like Vodafone in Egypt they reduced the prices
and the number of minute to achieve success to make the Egyptians
make calls instead of using the mobile to ring to each other and not pay
anything or make a complete call

3. I disagree with that as in many times it will increase the costs if the
supplier made any mistakes in the production of the product like they
neglect the quality standards that may Multinational organization need if
they sent my products with a big delayed time if they not packed the
product well many risks and also that will lead to lose customers and of
course money so it will increase the costs sometimes and many risks but
in the same time it can save money if the labor hour was so cheap like in
India or the raw material is available in this country and with low prices

4. I disagree with that as any company cannot control the external factors it
changes suddenly sometimes like the legal laws in some countries
according to unstable political environments or the changes in the weather
and it happened recently many times in many the company may not be
able to respond quickly to these uncontrolled external environment changes

airline from a developing country to that of a strong international competitor
*The real problem behind the phenomena: Korea’s hierarchical culture
exists in all Oriental culture that teaches Koreans to be deferential toward
their elders and superiors, which results in great hesitation from juniors to

requires relatively long years of experience to be able to perform according
to the international standards

* The solutions to solve it:

1. changing the company’s organizational structure to make it easy to

change the culture of the company to give the younger employees to be a
part of the decision making process in the company and to help to achieve
the vision and the mission of the company to increase the level of
empowerment of them
2. They can give the younger employees training and social skills
presentations or orientations to improve their personal skills
3. put some roles and ways to make it easier to the young employee to raise
their complains on the elder managers to the top management to review
the issue and take actions on who made mistakes or refused to change his
behavior even he is an older man
4. They must put KPI forms every month to know the performance of each
employee in each department and if his performance is low they must send
him a notification to him to let him know if his KPI didn’t change to the
accepted level they will fire him or if he made a high risk mistake that can
affect on the safety standards they can also fire him
5. Make a written policy and send it for each department in the company to
identify the roles and the safety standards that they must follow it or they
