Valentine’s Day is a very popular holiday in the United States.

During this day married couples, partners and sweethearts go out for dinner; the most
romantic restaurants are usually busy.

This holiday is celebrated on February 14 th every year.

People present flowers, candies, or other romantic gifts to their wife, husband, lover,
girlfriend or boyfriend as a tradition in the US.

Valentine’s Day is a very commercial day, especially for the floral industry because most of
the people give red roses on this day.

In American schools children make and exchange valentines, as gesture of friendship.

Single people express their affection even though isn’t romantic affection.
