Due to statutory requirements, the Board can take action only when we can prove, by evidence in a trial, that the laws governing the practice of nursing have been violated, After a thorough review of all information and facts gathered in our investigation, it has been determined that the nurse is now deceased. ‘We appreciate that you brought your information to the Board and allowed us to review the nursing practice and conduct of one of our licensees. No formal disciplinary action will be taken by the Texas Board of Nursing in this matter. The investigation has been closed and the investigative file has been destroyed.
