Based on the audio of the story “The Happy Prince” written by Oscar Wilde,the character that I think
who sacrificed the most is“The Little Swallow”.The first reason is The Little Swallow sincerely
wanted to help The Happy Prince eventhough the Little Swallow have to migrate to Egypt before the
winter comes.The Happy Prince wanted to help a mother and her son that is sick and crying for
oranges.So The Happy Prince ordered The Little Swallow to take his ruby from his sword-lit and bring
it to them.The Little Swallow was very proud of itself by doing good deeds to help the people.The
Little Swallow agree that it will be The Happy Prince’s messenger to help the people in need.

The second reason is The Little Swallow work hard by flying from town to town to help the people.
The Little Swallow picked the gold leaves from The Happy Prince cloth and give it to the peole in
need.The Little Swallow fly everyday and comeback to the Happy Prince at night until the cloth of
The Happy Prince run out of gold leaves.The Little Swallow follow the order of The Happy Prince until
it’s death.
