    TASK NOTES % Done

    REFLECTIVE LOGBOOK
    PRETTY MUCH UP TO DATE

    Talk about the 4 in depth experiments Spoken briefly about drawing and using illustrator, need to write up 20%
    more about it as I go.
    CONTINGENCY PLAN Need to write up about how I already prepared for this with what 20%
    was going to work on with Unit 3. Write up about the things that it still
    effects though.
    Write up as I go along I have done a lot of reflections but I have written them alongside my 40%
    research on my research page as I have gone alone in orange. I did
    this as they are relevant to specific pieces, so it may not look like I
    have done too much on this page but I have wrote a lot throughout
    the other pages too that are reflective comments, should I also add
    these comments to this page or are they ok being on the other
    pages in orange throughout my work?
    RESEARCH 70%
    Finish writing up about the articles I looked at. I only scanned in the articles/images from the magazines that are 60%
    relevant to what I am doing/associated with my theme. I have them
    all up on my website I just need to still write about some of the
    articles.
    Harvard referencing the articles Done most 2 magazines left to do it for. 80%
    Black Crows Designs and artist : Yorgo Tloupas& I have already looked into the artist behind the black crows designs, 40%
    Yorgo&Co images are on website to talk about – I just need to write up about
    it. This connects to some of the digital work I have already done.
    Armada Designs and artist : Masha Karpushina Images are on website to talk about, need to write up. These 3 artists 10%
    go on to influence/inspire my designs/style later
    Atomic Designs and artist : Chris Benchetler Images on website to talk about – need to write up. 10%
    750 WORD ESSAY I’m going to do this on Chris Benchetler, his work often illustrates the
    interconnections between human and nature and the mountains.

    EXPERIMENT 1 – ILLUSTRATION - PEOPLE 30%
    Drawing from photographs and imagination Can’t really go and do life drawing as I planned because of lock 30%
    down so this is what I will do more of instead. Done a few but not
    enough, need to write up about the ones I have done.
    Write up process
    Look at a few ‘How To’ Videos Write up and show drawing process/practice
    Small amount of research – looking at other If I have time???
    people’s illustrations for inspiration??
    EXPERIMENT 2 – ILLUSTRATION – NATURE 0%
    Life drawings Go out into nature and do some life drawing, illustrative not as much
    realism and also documenting natural patterns I find.
    Drawings from photographs my own and from Things like mountains, bears, alpine trees and other nature related to
    online mtn culture – Not things I can look at in real life here in the UK.
    How To Videos ??? Potentially somehow to videos? How to draw mountains for
    example?
    Small amount of research on this experiment Looking at other people’s illustrations for inspiration??If I have time?
    EXPERIMENT 3 – DIGITAL DESIGN – 55%
    ADOBE ILLUSTRATOR
    Write up about designs already done/on website!! Most images of what I have done so far are on my website but I 30%
    need to finish writing up about them!
    More designs to be done. Based off drawing/illustration phase – turn some of these to digital &
    write up briefly the process.
    EXPERIMENT 4 – DIGITAL DESIGN – 0%
    ADOBE IN DESIGN
    Look up How To videos on how to use InDesign Need to do this because I haven’t used it before!
    Create a ‘look book’ presenting the designs I
    have made for this unit.
    Mock Up’s in photoshop to also go in look book. Take some of the designs and in photoshop create mock ups of
    what some of them are to look like on the apparel I have created
    them for.
