    DESCRIPTION: Medium Voltage (11KV/4.16KV) KVA Power Transformers

    Verify compliance with all the drawings and manuals.

    Verify nameplate ratings and HV, LV terminal markings.

    Verify that all parts of the transformer are properly assembled and tight.

    Check the HV connections are tight.

    Check the cable connections on the LV side and the markings.

    Check the oil levels and inspect for leakage.


    Check the grounding termination and connections are made sure
    Check the fuse rating of secondary side.

    Check the transformer bushings thoroughly and confirm no signs of


    cracks/damages.
    Check that de-energized tap changer has padlocking provision and padlock
    in position..
