    SCSI Controllers

    SCSI: Small Computer System Interface. And it provides faster data transmission (80 MBPS).We can
    attach many interfaces to the SCSI controllers. And hence it can also be called as I\o interface.

    Various types of SCSI Controllers:

     SCSI-1
     SCSi-2
     Wide SCSI
     Fast SCSI
     FAST Wide SCSI
     Ultra SCSI
     SCSI-3
     Ultra 2 SCSI
     Wide Ultra2 SCSI

     SCSI-1: It uses an 8 bit bus. And the rate of bits transferred is 4mbps.
     SCSI-2: It is same as SCSI1.But it will uses a 50 pin connector. This most people refer
    when they say the normal SCSI controller.
     Wide SCSI: It will use a wider cable. And the bit transfer rate is 16-bit transfers.
