Salutation

When writing a full block letter all lines start at the left margin. Do not use any punctuation
after the date, inside address, salutation, complimentary closing, or identification unless these
end with an abbreviation. Punctuation is omitted in the postal code. When using a subject
line you may use bold, underline or simply use all caps. Allow four to six spaces for the
signature block. Always align letter on paper to look appealing to the eye. A full block /
open punctuation letter is the most time-saving.

Dear Madam;

I am writing this letter to bring your attention that I am not satisfied with the purchase
I made from your company, BMW Autowelt Cebu Incorporated.
In September 2013, I purchased a brandnew BMW Z4 Roadster, worth ₱1.1 million.
After 10 months, the car broke in 3 times, and had to bring it to the repair shop, once
for transmission malfunction, once for paint fading, and once for the damaged breaks.
And recently, I could feel that the transmission is starting to slip, so I have to send the
car to the shop again one of this days, for repair.
I was not expecting this to happen since this car have not been roughly used, and
brandnew cars aren’t supposed to have much failures, not to think it have not even yet
reached a 1 year life span of being used.
This is the first time I purchased from your company, and I am completely
disappointed. I expect quality products from your company, but I received otherwise. I
request you to address this issue with immediate attention. I want a full compensation
and look forward for your reply within the shortest time.

Ref: Claim Letter dated November 24, 2014

Dear Madam;

Thank you for your letter of November 23, 2020. We are sorry to hear that you were
disappointed by the car you purchased on us, last September 2013.

According to our record, the car you had bought on September 23, 2013, was the car
previously used by our dealership as demonstration model and had been driven for
5000 miles at the time of the purchase. Therefore, the car had a limited warranty of 6
months, which expired in March 2014. It further means that the time of your claim is
already out of warranty period. Mr. Alberto Balat, the representative who attended to
you upon time of purchase, admitted that he was not able to discuss to you the full
details of the car and he has been disciplined over this matter.

We are truly sorry to inform you that our company could not give you the full
compensation you were asking for, but we would be delighted to give you a 1 year
40% discount on services in all of our company owned repair shops, guaranteed that
you will present them the discounted voucher attached herein.

We again regret the inconvenience that we have caused you.
