I.Project Title:
Conversion of Faculty Room into Sci-Math Laboratory.
II. Rationale
The presence of School laboratory is an indication of an excellent and a child-friendly

environment. This is a place for students to do the hands-on and minds-on activities to prove the

science and math theories. A well-designed laboratory does not only make science experiments

fun but also help students in achieving good academic results. It is always considered as a

relevant and essential part of the teaching and learning.

The Baybayog National High School for the past years is struggling to have a laboratory

room. Its quest to have one is a dream because there’s no enough fund. Science and Math

students performed experiments inside and outside their respective rooms. With this scenario, the

students are not comfortable in performing the different activities in Math and Science. Also, the

equipment and chemicals are not safe because the school is always visited by floods. All of these

result to poor delivery of lessons. Thus, there is a need to have a conducive and safe place for

students to do their activities in order for teaching and learning to take place.

III.Problem Statement:
No permanent laboratory room for Science and Math.

Project Objective Statement:

To house the Science and Math Laboratory chemicals and equipment.

Root Cause:
There is no safe room for Science and Math laboratory chemicals and equipment.
