Onion Syrup
Sprinkle over one teaspoon of sugar (it is up to you what kind of sugar you use here - we like
to use dark brown sugar)
Repeat with another layer of sugar, and more onion and sugar until you have several layers of
onion and sugar.
You will now be able to use the liquid syrup that has formed on the top of your onion and
sugar layers.
Pop the jar back into the warm dark place for use later.
