Patient M.G. 27-year-old, G2P1 is admitted for elective cesarean section.

Her first born is a


term 2-year-old female. Negative uterine contraction, negative vaginal discharge. No history of
hypertension. Patient is admitted at Day 1, 4:41PM

Admititng Dx: G3P2, pregnancy uterine, 37 weeks 5 days AOG

Day 1

4:45PM Doctor’s order

➢ Patient admitted for elective cesarean section


➢ Secure consent for admission
➢ Secure consent for the procedure
➢ Schedule contemplated procedure at Day 2, 8:00AM
➢ Inform operating room
➢ Notify Anesthesiologist on Duty
➢ Dx: CBC, urinalysis, BT crossmatching, Clotting time, bleeding time
➢ Secure Blood
➢ IVF: PNSS 1L x 12 hours prior to OR
➢ Cefuroxime 1500mg IV ANST prior to OR.
➢ Monitor
➢ Refer

➢ Skin test ketorolac prior to OR


➢ Skin test lidocaine
➢ NPO post-midnight
➢ Complete bed bath
➢ Gargle with hexetidine
