CRITIQUE

ISSUE 3:-

The third issue is about heads must roll yet another river water pollution scandal. From my opinion, I
disagree with the issue because the issue have caused a problem to the population in Selangor Menteri
Besar, must bear responsibility for this inexcusable and repeated pollution of Sungai Selangor.
Therefore, the water quality must be in good condition and clean.
The evidence that I found from this issue is the people must demand that head of enforcement, the
environment minister, and the Selangor and resign forthcoming.
Selangor lost one of its most pristine white-water rafting sites that was internationally acclaimed as
world-class. Since then, taxpayers have had to bear the cost of the dam through indirect taxation.

The rising cost of living is but the result of uneconomic projects by the authorities, a burden we are
paying for today.

Even if some Malaysians don’t care about the plight of the Orang Asli or the displacement of other
indigenous peoples for dam projects, their own discomfort during these unscheduled water cuts should
be enough to warn them of an even worse catastrophe in the looming water crises to come.

To demonstrate that we will not accept any more such incidence of wanton pollution of our water
sources, we call for the resignation of the head of enforcement and the Selangor Menteri Besar over
gross dereliction of duty in ensuring the safety of our water sources.

Then, the solution from the issue is the Selangor state government carried out its pollution free water
crises is by no means a new phenomenon.
ISSUE 4:-

The last issue is about the Air Selangor only 247 areas in Klang valley without as at 6.30 pm. From my
opinion, I disagree with the issue because this makes many people worried about this. It make people in
Selangor do not have water for daily use.

The evidence that I found from this issue is water supply has been restored in 1,045 of 1,292 affected
area, in even regions around the Klang valley, us at 6.30 pm.

Air Selangor also advised consumers not to store or use excessive amount of water so as to ensure
smooth recovery process in other affected areas.

To date, Hulu Selangor recorded 100 per cent water supply resumption, followed by Kuala Selangor
(99.62 per cent), Petaling (92.43 per cent), Gombak (84.67 per cent), Kuala Langat (75 per cent), Kuala
Lumpur (70.85 per cent) and Klang/Shah Alam (39.55 per cent).

The water supply disruption began on Thursday when the Sungai Selangor Phase 1, 2, 3 and Rantau
Panjang Water Treatment Plants were forced to stop operation due to pollution at the raw water source

The solution for this issue is, the distribution system is also being stabilized to enable water to be
restored to another 24 areas by midnight today.
