 SNMP Card Configuration-1

Connect the RJ45 of configuration cable to the SNMP console port.

Connect the D-sub9 of configuration cable to a Windows PC.

Run the HyperTerminal from Windows (baud rate 2400, non-parity, 8 data bits, 1
stop bits).
Switch these 2 dip switches to the ON position.
The default login account and password are “admin” and “password”.
Switch these 2 dip switches to the OFF position once you have made changes.

Connect the SNMP card to the network.

Run the EzSetting utility in the same LAN.
Press “Discover” button to search all of the SNMP cards in the LAN.

Select one of the SNMP cards in the Device List and press “Modify” button to
input the account and password.
If you want to search in a different LAN, please change the subnet and subnet
mask.

Press “Configuration” button to change the basic settings.

Press “Upgrade” to upgrade the new firmware for SNMP card.

 Before Deploy the SNMP card

The DHCP is enabled by default such that the IP address will be assigned
automatically, if there is not a DHCP server in your network then the default IP
address is 192.168.1.100.
User cannot login from web or telnet unless the Allow Any option is selected.
If the Time server is unreachable then the event log and history data will not be
recorded in the EEPROM because loss of date and time.

Setup Time Server:

Install the InsightPower Client and
enable the Time Server from
Property dialog box.
install the “Simple TCP/IP Services”
of “Networking Services” from
“Add/Remove Windows
Components”. You may need a
Windows CD while installing.
