TASK PERFORMANCE

Yes, it gives to understand better what Jose Rizal did for our

country. And we are proud to say that through studying the works of

Rizal, my sense of nationalism was awakened and I don’t feel ashamed

of our race and I would like to state that I am for this particular

law because of all the benefits that it can give to the country.

Dr. Jose Rizal inspired us always with his life, works and writings

would inspire us and make us brave and determined which would then

underpin our Filipino identity. Understanding Rizal’s Life and Works

course can give us a realistic lesson that we can reflect in our daily

life and we can understand the sensitive of literature as a means of

communication in learning nationalism. Nationalism gives us being a

part of a family and supporting one another. You can see it whenever

Filipinos are around. It doesn't matter if we are blood related or

not-we are always there for one another. It gives us an inspiration

whatever we want to be. Patriotism gives us to inspire to live on to

the fullest and Rizal will be inspired us always with his life, works

and writings would inspire us and make us brave and determined which

would then underpin our Filipino identity. And we learn in voluntarism

is being a responsible citizen in our country and have a pride to do

of what is right and being in an organization is good the way we help

each other.
The importance of literacy criticism of studying Rizal’s Life and

Works teaches us teaches that being educated is avital ingredient for

a person or country to be really free and successful. The past helps

us understand who we are. We comprehensively define ourselves not only

in terms of where we are going, but also where we come from. Our

heredity, past behaviors, and old habits as a nation are all

significant clues and determinants to our present situation.

Interestingly, the life of a very important national historical figure

like Jose Rizal contributes much to shedding light on our collective

experience and identity as Filipino. We always of how our national

hero Dr. Jose Rizal inspire us today and the way embed strong

discipline and genuine moral character in us youth. We will then

become selfless, true Filipinos who will make our beloved country rise

up and smile again and transform it from a poor country to a globally

competitive nation in the future. And if I given a chance to

deconstruct one of the Rizal Written works it would “Kundiman” because

it is really referring to a love song where a man serenades the woman

he loves. this word (kundiman) was derived from the Tagalog phrase

“Kung Hindi man”. Rizal’s literary work, he wrote a kundiman to

profess his intense love for his motherland. This piece reflects his

high hopes that one day, the Philippines would be free from treachery

and injustice. At the time, the country faced great threats while he

was in Europe. And, through this work, he voices his hopeful thoughts

despite being far away from the country
