Guidelines for Paper Uploading

V1.01
Hello everyone and welcome to the Edbase Physics program for Edexcel.
Because all your exams will be held at your homes with the question paper
downloaded from the Facebook group, there are certain rules that you must
follow before you can upload your script
IF YOUR SCRIPT DOES NOT FALL INTO THIS GUIDELINE, WE WILL NOT
GRADE YOUR SCRIPTS. So please read the whole document carefully

1. Your first objective has to create a portable document file or PDF for
short of your script. However, before you can do this you need to have a readable
and presentable script in the first place. This means a series of jpg images
will not be acceptable.
Before uploading your script you have to write it on paper. You need to ensure it
is proper and legible and examiners can actually follow what you are writing.
Here are some examples of how you do this right:

In this case look at how neatly they

have separated questions 3 and 4
yes? Each if your answers must be
separated by a solid line.
2. THIS IS WHAT YOU SHOULD NOT BE DOING WITH YOUR
SCRIPT:

Do not this. if you try

splitting the paper like this
there is a high chance of
answers getting mixed. Better
to keep it single columned.

Do not do this. do not

sketch if the question
asks you to plot. use a
separate graph paper.
SKETCH ONLY IF
QUESTION WANTS A
SKETCH
Always use more than 70% of
the graph paper! if more of it
is blank you will lose marks!

UPLOAD THE PICTURE OF

THE WHOLE GRAPH PAPER!
Notice here that the person has
cut out some parts of the graph
paper. this is illegal show us
all of it!
3. PREPARING YOUR SCRIPT FOR UPLOADING.

You have finished the paper great! Now you have to create a PDF of your script.
How to do this? use a software like Cam Scanner, Adobe Scan or even google
drive app’s built in pdf scanner. how to use? it’s very simple and intuitive,
download and try it out
Most of these apps make you take a series of pictures of each page of your scripts
and then combine them into a pdf. this means you have to take the pictures
carefully or this happens:

See how one picture is 90 degree?

But the other one is vertical?

Always review the script

before uploading. we will not
grade things like this. Cam
scanner allows you to edit each
picture and rotate them!
TAKE THE PICTURE IN ADEQUATE LIGHT AND ENSURE NO SHADOWS
FALL ON IT PLEASE
4. UPLOADING YOUR SCRIPT
Now we come to the finale. You have finished preparing a pdf file of your script
and want to upload it. First let us give your creation a name. Naming procedure
should be like this:

Fullname_class_Mock no._paper no.

e.g.: for the 3 students named Edgar Allan Poe from O levels, Jonathan Strange
from AS and Anasurimbor Kellhous from A2 check how their file names are
written:

Before every exam starts, Shabbir sir will upload a digital copy of the question
paper to the group. Along with this paper he will also post a dropbox link.

For every exam you will receive a maximum of 15 mins extra along with the
standard exam duration to prepare and upload your script to this link.

To start the uploading process, press the link (or click it on a PC), and it will take
you to an upload window where it will allow you to select your PDF file from the
target directory. Remember to be careful and upload the right PDF do not be
upload your biology assignment by accident! (has happened before).

If you failed or uploaded the wrong file/ incomplete file, immediately select the
dropbox link again and upload a second file while mentioning in the post that you
made a mistake and uploaded a new file. (otherwise examiners will get confused)

Finally, a TLDR: your script has to be written properly with lines after each
answer. ALL graphs the question wants to be plotted must be done on GRAPH
PAPER. when taking pictures, TAKE THE PICTURE OF THE WHOLE PAGE
EVEN FOR GRAPH PAPERS. when creating the PDF ENSURE no shadows fall
on the script and all the pages are VERTICALLY ALIGNED! and that none of the
pages are jagged!

UwU BEST OF LUCK UwU
