3 DAY-TOUR IN SCOTLAND:
ISLE OF SKYE AND THE HIGHLANDS.

Introduction:

• Enjoy this 3-day tour of the beautiful and green


north of Scotland.
• Visit the Highlands and Isle of Skye. Other
highlights:Glencoe Valley,Fort William, Loch Ness,
Eilean Donan Castle, Portree, Inverness, Pitlochry,
etc.
• This tour is aimed at fearless and adventurous
people.
DAY 1: Stirling - Glencoe Valley -
Itinerary and route Fort William
DAY 1:

• Meeting point in Edinburgh - 47 High


Street - at 8:00 am.
• First stop: historic city of Stirling at
8.50. Visit Stirling Castle and its
surroundings.
• We found Doune Castle on our way to the
north.
• Callander: hairy cows or cows of the
highlands. Have breakfast and continue
the route around 11 am.
• Loch Lubnaig and its beauty.
• Next stop: Glencoe Valley, a huge
glacial valley.
DAY 1:

• Stop in Fort William, a small


but important city. Have lunch.
• Visit the famous Eilean Donan
Castle.
• Overnight in Fort William.
Itinerary and route DAY 2: Isle of Skye - Portree - Trotternish
DAY 2:
• First stop: Glenfinnan Viaduct.
The famous viaduct of Harry
Potter and the Chamber of
Secrets. Glenfinnan monument and
the beautiful views of the Loch
Shiel.
• Go to Mallaig to catch a ferry to
the Isle of Skye.
• Arrive at the town of Armadale,
port of entry to the Isle of
Skye, at 9.40 am.
• Next stop at the most important
mountain formation on the island,
Cuillin. Picnic.
DAY 2:
• Fairy Pools: a set of
waterfalls and natural pools with
crystal clear waters near the
town of Carbost.
• Visit Dunvegan Castle.
• Kilt Rock, a waterfall of about
50 meters, and the Old Man rock
formations. Both located on the
Trotternish Peninsula.
• Arrive in Portree at 6 pm. There
we will give you some free time
to do what you want.
• Overnight in Portree.
Itinerary and route DAY 3: Loch Ness - Inverness - Pitlochry
DAY 3:
• Leave Portrees and head to the
world-famous Loch Ness and its
surroundings.
• On the way to Fort Augustus we
find Loch Garry and Glengarry
View Point.
• Stop in Fort Augustus, a charming
little town that keeps a treasure
in the form of sluice. Have
breakfast at 10 am.
• On the banks of Loch Ness is the
ruins of the Urquhart Castle.
DAY 3:

• Inverness (the capital of


the Highlands): Walk
through the Ness Islands
crossing the River Ness.
Visit Inverness Castle and
Saint Andrews
Cathedral.Have free time
to eat.
• Last stop: Pitlochry,a
charming Victorian town
located in the Perthshire
area.
• Back to the starting point
in Edinburgh around 19:00.
There we will end the
tour.

• 3 options:

-Hostel: In the hostels the rooms are shared. Also, the beds are distributed in bunk beds
and the bedrooms are usually mixed. Breakfast is included.
-Standard: There is a variety of Bed & Breakfast located in different places, such as
Fort William, Inverness, Portree… Breakfast is included.
-Superior: You will find well located Bed & Breakfasts and hotels that will ensure you
the best comfort and good views. Breakfast is included.

• More about accommodation:

-The price indicated in standard and superior is sleeping in double or single rooms with
private bathroom. Single rooms have a small supplement.
Important tips and
prior considerations:
• Luggage limit per passenger: one cabin
suitcase and one small bag or backpack.
• Keep in mind what time of year you are going
to do the route: summer or winter.
• In Scotland it is very cold, especially in
winter. Wear warm clothing with thermal
clothing, a raincoat and waterproof
footwear.
• Wear comfortable shoes.
• Think about the idea of getting a mosquito
repellent (during the summer). There are
many of them.

• Departure time: 8:00 am. Arrive 15-30 minutes early.

• Tour finished: The third day at approximately 7pm.


• When to book?
It can be booked up to 10 days in advance as long as there are vacancies available.

• We will send you an email with a voucher that you can take on your mobile to the tour.
Not necessary to print it. Before starting the tour, we will check it.
• Booking cancellation:
Free. Cancel free of charge up to 10 days before the tour. If you cancel with less time,
are late or don't show up, refund won´t be offered.

➢ It not included Loch Ness Cruise: £ 14 (€ 15,18) per person.
• Will we visit Edinburgh?
It will be only the starting point and where the tour ends. There are 3 days where we
have to abide by the plan and we will try to take advantage of the maximum possible time
in the proposed destinations. We usually leave the necessary time to enjoy each stop and
destination.

• How can we make the reservation if we are a large group?


You can make several reservations, but we can´t guarantee that you are all in the same
accommodation.
• How to make the reservation?

You only have to choose the desired date and complete the steps on our official page
